Vinyl toy frenzy is a group show featuring soft vinyl toy artists (sofubi) from around the world. This show is the beginning of many more shows to come in hopes of introducing sofubi toys to more people and maybe create a community of new collectors and even future artists.

Sofubi (Soft vinyl toys), generally refers to Japanese toys or toys produced with similar methods. A toy artist first makes a 3D model of a toy, usually produced first in clay and then in wax before being transformed into a metal mold through electroplating. It’s a complex process which results in a beautiful and unique piece. These pieces are usually produced in small runs which is what separates them from a mass produced toy.
